These new Regulations require landlords to have the electrical installations in their properties inspected and tested by a person who is qualified and competent, at least every 5 years. Landlords have to provide a copy of the electrical safety report to their tenants, and to their local authority if requested.

It will become a legal requirement on existing tenancies that an electrical installation certificate is carried out before 1st April 2021.

If you have a copy of an electrical certificate carried out within the last 5 years please send a copy to info@tempoestates.co.uk

If you haven’t had this carried out yet we can arrange this for you with a qualified electrician, the cost does differ depending on the size and type of the property plus the cost of any required work that may need to be carried out.
